Diecutting / Perforating / Scoring


 

Diecutting is a process of using dies, in our case, steel rule to cut a given
shape from a sheet of paper. We use flatbed or platen presses that are better suited for short to medium runs.

Scoring and perforation rule can be built into the cutting die board if necessary. We also offer a higher speed perf and score option with our Rollem TR machine, which accepts up to a 23 x 29 inch sheet. The Rollem is capable of micro and stop-perf. We also offer inline folding.

On press, we can feed anything from a single business card size up to
a 30 x 40 sheet as heavy as .125" thickness.

Diecutting can also be applied to metal, leather, or plastic. We lack the machinery for those applications, as well as the capacity for thermal diecutting or high-die cutting (chambered dies). We do not accept corrugated orders, but we are experienced with heavy chipboard.
